Emergency Response Guide (ERG) provided by Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) is the guide to prepare you for most emergencies at ASU; familiarize yourself with this guide before an emergency.

Emergency Evacuation Plan Template is provided by EH&S to help the campus community in developing building-specific and/or department-specific emergency preparedness plans.

Emergency Evacuation Compliance Guidelines give the requirements for what needs to be in the written emergency evacuation plan for each facility on campus.

Classroom Emergency Procedures Guidelines contain emergency procedures that should be reviewed during the first class meeting.

Chemical, Radioactive, Biological, and Fire Safety programs are provided by EH&S. 

Safety classes are provided by EH&S to prepare for emergency situations, including Radiation Safety Training, Laser Safety Training, and Biosafety Training.

Homeland Security Department offers current national threat levels and links to national resources.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is the federal agency charged with building and supporting the nation’s emergency management system.

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a Federal Emergency Management Agency initiative that educates citizens to become citizen-responders following a disaster.

FEMA Are You Ready? offers a “What can I do at home?” guide for citizen preparedness; information for individual, family, and community preparedness for all types of emergencies.

FEMA Higher Education Project encourages and supports the dissemination of hazard, disaster, and emergency management information at colleges and universities.
