University Audit and Advisory Services (University Audit)
performs a broad variety of internal audits including financial, compliance and performance (economy and efficiency) audits.These services are intended to assist University managers in their oversight and operating responsibilities.

University Audit reports to the Vice President for University Administration and General Counsel, who reports to the President. In addition, we have a reporting relationship to the Arizona Board of Regents Audit Committee.

In addition to audits, University Audit provides several other services:

• Advisory Services - This includes services that are more consultative than a traditional audit.

• Investigations - We have a fact-finding role regarding allegations of the misuse of University assets.

• Hotline - We administer the University's Campus Safety and Compliance Hotline.

University Audit provides these services to the University community in accordance with our responsibilities as defined in University policies (FIN 701, 702 and 703) and our charter. University Audit performs its work in accordance with the standards for the professional practice of internal auditing issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
