Why should I be concerned with campus safety and compliance? Raising concerns about safety and/or non-compliance with laws, regulations, or policies applicable to ASU is a service to the university and to the community. ASU must comply with a wide variety of laws, regulations, and policies to protect everyone. Examples of compliance areas include: financial transactions, NCAA rules, environmental health and safety, discrimination, and research administration. When evaluating whether to report a situation, consider the following questions:
In the event of an emergency, please call 911 or the ASU Police (480) 965-3456. For non-emergency situations, if you have a concern about safety, non-compliance with laws, regulations, or policies, you should promptly notify the appropriate ASU office and go through established channels. If you want to remain anonymous, you can report your concerns without fear of retaliation to ASU's Hotline.
