The office of University Administration & Legal Affairs is charged by the President with overseeing certain administrative services, including the ASU Police Department, Environmental Health & Safety, University Audit and Advisory Services, and Office of General Counsel. Our principal purpose is to meet the needs of the university community while operating within the legal and regulatory compliance requirements of the State of Arizona and the Arizona Board of Regents.

We strive to continuously improve the administrative and legal services we provide in support of ASU's vision as a New American University.

To provide effective and efficient administration and legal services that fully support ASU's core educational, public service, and research activities; to provide for the safety and security of the University community and resources; and to advance the competency, equal opportunity, diversity, and productivity of faculty, staff and students.
