University Center Building

University Center Building, the center of campus life, opened in spring 1991. This three-story facility houses admissions and records, an array of student-assistance programs, health services and student activities.

Also found in UCB are food service, cashier and fee-payment services, student lounges (including billiards), an art gallery, a black-box theater, meeting rooms, and the La Sala, a divisible, multi-purpose auditorium/ballroom facility.

The 7,000 sq. ft. Diablo Performance and Recreation Center is equipped with Precor cardio equipment, a full-body machine circuit, free weights, an aerobics/multi-use room, as well as shower and locker facilities.

Visitors, students and staff dine in Café West on freshly prepared entrees, sandwiches, salads, pizza, snacks, desserts–even breakfast selections. Shop in the bookstore at the northeast corner of UCB for ASU souvenirs, textbooks and supplies.
