L. S. Neeb Hall
Neeb Hall is one of the largest lecture halls on campus, with the capacity to hold 500 people. Yes, ASU is a big school, and some classes are large. But most large classes have small-group labs, discussion groups or recitations that meet outside of the lecture. And some of the classes taught at Neeb, such as Professor Jess Alberts' Introduction to Human Communication, consistently receive rave reviews from ASU students.
Even though ASU is one of the largest universities in the country, consider that at ASU first-year classes in English composition are limited to 19 students.
Neeb Hall is named for Lewis Neeb, head of the Department of Industrial Arts in the 1930s.
