Everything you need to learn about a subject is easily in reach through the ASU Libraries, and Hayden is the ASU Libraries’ anchor facility. As the largest library at ASU, Hayden houses materials in the humanities and social sciences, including business and education. Also featured at the Hayden Library are several special collections including the Arizona Collection, the Labriola National Indian Data Center, the Arizona Historical Foundation, the Chicano Research Collection, and the University Archives.
The ASU library system houses more than 6.5 million volumes in microform and 3.1 million bound volumes. Search for books, articles, images and many other resources online through the library's web site at www.asu.edu/lib.
Built in 1966, the Hayden Library is named for Charles Trumbull Hayden, founder of Tempe and the first president of the board of the Arizona Territorial Normal School.
