Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Building II is a high-bay facility supporting research in advanced materials, transportation planning, geotechnical engineering, fluid dynamics and sustainable materials. The National Center of Excellence on SMART (Sustainable Materials and Renewable Technologies) Innovations for Urban Climate and Energy is a premier laboratory, housed in ISTB II, for developing materials that contribute to a sustainable urban environment.
