The Engineering A-Wing was built in 1956. The first floor houses research and instructional labs for civil, electrical, mechanical, and aerospace engineering.
The second and third floors are home to classrooms and faculty/departmental offices for the Department of Religious Studies, the Center for the Study of Religion and Conflict, the Women and Gender Studies Program, and the German Studies Association. The third floor is also the location of the Center for Applied NanoBioscience, one of the major research centers in The Biodesign Institute.
