Global Institute of Sustainability Building

The Global Institute of Sustainability Building accomodates ASU's Global Institute of Sustainability and School of Sustainability. Sustainability initiatives have been incorporated in the design and development of this project, including:

• wind turbines powered by thermal updrafts
• skylights and energy-efficient light fixtures
• high recycled content in carpet and furniture

The building was dedicated in 1966 as the Nursing Building and until 2006 was the home of the College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation, now located at the Downtown Phoenix campus.
