Civic Space

The proposed civic space is the “bridge” between the ASU and surrounding communities, accommodating a variety of uses, events, and daily functions of the university. The post office building, the 424 Central building, a potential annex structure, and the landscaping that holds them together will comprise a student commons area. The program for each building will be determined. A signature shade structure is planned to be the centerpiece of the complex.
