| Eligibility: |
Applications with a $400 ($50 refundable) deposit are due on or before February 5, 2007. However, enrollment is limited and students are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible. |
Academic
Program: |
This course will cover the complex and conflict laden history of China’s experience with western modernization. It will explain some of the long term background to the current situation. Students must enroll for 6 credits and both classes.

Students will be housed, double-occupancy, in four star hotels. |
| Cost: |
The cost of $4,740 (subject to possible change) includes: roundtrip airfare from Los Angeles, all lodging, all transportation in China (including seven flights, and one luxury train journey), all entrance fees, scheduled cultural/educational tours, and an average of two meals per day. Not included: ASU Tuition and fees, transportation to and from L.A., visa and passport fees, books, remaining meals and personal expenses. |
