Dance Program in Beijing
Dance is deeply embedded in Chinese cultural heritage. Beijing, the capital city of the People’s Republic of China with over 13 million people, claims the best collection of China’s treasures of the past. It is home to Captital Normal University, where our summer dance program will be held, and to the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and the Summer Palace. Within easy reach are the Great Wall, the famous Qing East & West Tombs, and many other historically significant and scenic sites.
Cultural Excursion in China
First we will visit the site of the Qin Terracotta soldiers’ tombs in Xian then we will visit Kumming known for its breathtaking landscapes and Village of Ethnic Culture. From there, we will fly to Hong Kong, the Pearl of the Orient, for a two-day visit before returning home.
