In 1992, a group of students concerning Taiwan started regularly gathering together and discussing issues regarding Taiwanese history, culture, politics, etc. on ASU campus. In Spring 1994, Taiwan Study Society was formally registered as a student organization at ASU.
The goals of the Taiwan Study Society are to promote the history of Taiwan; encourage exchange of Taiwanese culture and tradition; discuss and debate current Taiwan issues; obtain national recognition of all students and to enhance relations with American students as well as international students. To accomplish these goals, our organization provides opportunities to exchange opinions and gain global views.
