To Alumni, Boosters, Parents and Friends of ASU Lacrosse,

We are almost half way through our 2007 Season for Sun Devil Lacrosse.  We currently have a record of 5 - 1 and are 2 – 0 in the South Division of the WCLL.  While we have a lot of hard work still remaining, we must prepare now for anticipated appearances in the WCLL and the MCLA playoffs.   If we are in the WCLL Quarterfinal Playoffs, they will be either in Santa Barbara or in Tempe, assuming we win our remaining two conference games.  The WCLL Championship is on April 28 at the University of California – Berkeley.  The MCLA Championship Tournament is May 15 – 19 in Dallas.

Obviously this takes money, which we need to raise from donations and from increased fees from our players.  We currently estimate that we will need at least $32,000 or approximately $800 per player if we make it to the MCLA Tournament.  Ideally, we would like to solicit donations that would cover all of our playoff costs as indicated above.   Any shortfall will need to come from our players and their families who have already paid $1,700 to $1,800 for the season.  In addition, many friends and parents have already made significant contributions to our 2007 season.

We need to secure our travel arrangements as soon as possible and need the financial resources to do this.  Please consider a gift to the 2007 ASU Men’s Lacrosse Club.  We need your support now and request any donations by March 31, 2007.  In order to donate, please access the “Support” tab on our website at  laxdevils.com.  Donations may be considered a "charitable contribution.".  Please be sure to specify your gift is for Men’s Lacrosse.  For information about types of outright gifts, pledges, matching gifts, endowment, gift planning or real property gifts, go to: The ASU foundation

Alternatively, you can send checks to “The ASU Foundation – Men’s Lacrosse”.  Please mail your checks to ASU Men’s Lacrosse, 11889 East Gold Dust Ave, Scottsdale, AZ  85259.  Please be sure to include your address so we can mail you a tax receipt.   Thank you for your support of Sun Devil Lacrosse.
