    • The Institute of Transportation Engineers Arizona State University Student Chapter was started in the early 1990's, but became inactive when many of the students graduated. In the Fall Semester 2008, ASU Transportation Professors and students joined forces with the Arizona ITE Section and re-formed the organization. For the first year of the organization, leaders were chosen from among those transportation graduate students who volunteered their time. In Fall of 2009, elections will be held to choose the next generation of leaders.

    • ASU - ITE is a group of students interested in entering the transportation field. Our mission is to aid our fellow students in learning more about the profession and finding jobs and internships while at the same time attracting others to the field of transportation. We educate ourselves by attending professional seminars, participating in traffic count opportunities, and taking field trips to local sites of interest. We educate each other through community service and social events, as well as general body meetings.
