Native Americans embrace rhythm, culture at local pow wow

The sounds of the drums begin slowly and gradually strengthen. Ten-year-old Butch Bob begins to dance with the rhythm as the beat grows faster.

Bob was one of more than 400 Native Americans who competed in the 13th annual Arizona State University Pow Wow, held on the ASU campus April 16-18.
