Competing...

THE PULITZER PRIZE of college journalism, a William Randolph Hearst award is hotly pursued by college journalists. This year, State Press photographers placed in photographic competition, assisting the State Press writing staff and Cronkite School of Journalism in receiving a fourth-place rating nationally. The photographers also competed in the Society for Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence competition, garnering two photographic awards and adding to points that helped ASU capture a Sweepstakes Award for the most points earned in the West.
