Remember when
you were a kid?

Childhood was a fleeting thing for us.

(Well, for most of us -- some of us here at SPM never quite grew out of it...)

But you probably remember your favorite shows as a kid. The stuffed animals you snuggled with at night beneath the glow of your nightlight. Your favorite cartoon and kidsê show characters.

We want to know about it.

Let us know what your favorite Sesame Street characters were. Your favorite shows. Who you had on your lunchbox.

E-mail us by Monday at statepressmag@asu.edu, and we may print your entry in next week's issue.

Going back to the Land of Make-Believe...

SPM looks back (or regresses) to childhood with a look at favorite chidren's shows, including Sesame Street, local favorite Wallace and Ladmo, and Mr. Rogers.

Sesame Street -- The show turns 30 this year. Remember the good ol' days? One twothree four five six seven eightnine ten eleven tweeeeeeeelve!

We've got a Ladmo bag -- So what if it's empty? If you grew up in AZ, you'll remember Wallace and Ladmo, the lovable morning duo with the treat-filled paper sacks.

P.S. -- Won't you be my neighbor?
