Lattie Coor,
ASU president
"We'll be with family on Thanksgiving. It's a day that we respect and treasure as a national holiday and a day for family. We will be having an old western barbecue, which is a family tradition that goes back several generations."
Rob Evans,
ASU Men's basketball head coach
(in Puerto Rico for the Puerto Rico Shoot Out
basketball tournament)
"Obviously, it won't seem like a normal Thanksgiving because we're playing a game. But hopefully, we'll be beating Texas as everyone else begins to eat their turkey dinner. Happy Thanksgiving."
Angela Johnston,
anthropology sophomore
"I wish I could go home this year; my whole family gets together. Thanksgiving reminds me of the change of seasons, fall, cold weather. I am going to Las Vegas this Saturday and Sunday. (It) will be a diversion from the whole 'missing Thanksgiving at home' this year."
Pat Fogler,
office specialist,
Student Media
"I am going to be spending my Thanksgiving at my brother's house in Gilbert, being thankful for everything that happens in life, health, friends and family. I am retiring from working at ASU for 10 years on Dec. 23. I will miss everybody here, but I am starting a new adventure."
