Sports News
One at a time...
Last week's approval of Proposition 62 by the NCAA Board of Directors
has become a widely debated topic among those closely associated with college
sports.
The 15th-ranked ASU softball team will host Stanford on Friday and California
on Saturday in its final regular season homestand. Both games are at Sun
Devil Club Stadium and are 1 p.m. starts.
Senior gymnast Meagan Wright and former softball player Lisa Dacquisto
were honored Thursday at the fifth annual Wings of Gold awards banquet.
Two-and-a-half years I've been down in the dank dungeon known as the
State Press. Actually, I've spent most of that time in the dusty

This Saturday, the ASU men's track and field team will have the opportunity
to prove that an earlier victory against UofA was no fluke when it travel
to Roy P. Drachman Stadium in Tucson to participate in a double-dual meet
