2nd year baseball wonder blooming for Sun Devils

Someone on the ASU baseball team can, with a single swing of his bat, turn what would be a double for most, into a triple for him.

No. 13 baseball squad loses another one-run game, 8-7

The No. 13 ASU baseball team lost its third one-run ball game in less than a week Wednesday night losing 8-7 to New Mexico.

Casey, ASU capture Pac-10 Championships

ASU freshman Paul Casey took the individual Pac-10 championship honors and headed a list of three Sun Devils to shoot under par as ASU overcame a five-stroke Cal lead during Wednesday's final round to win the men's Pac-10 golf title.

Sun Devils add another transfer

The ASU men's basketball team has now filled all but one its scholarship slots for the 1998-99 season with the addition of Illinois transfer Awvee Storey.

Sun Devils swept by UofA

The 15th-ranked ASU softball team dropped apair of home games Wednesday to No.1 UofA, 6-0 and 3-2, but that does not mean they didn't have a chance to win both.
