opening game of the Nike Desert Classic Thursday, he wasn't at his customary
shooting guard spot.
Thanks to a multitude of injuries on offense and defense, ASU's annual
spring football game turned into, for all intensive purposes, a spring
scrimmage.
The No. 19 ASU baseball team's opening game against USC was a combination
of great pitching and timely hitting as the Sun Devils banged out 18 hits
in their 18-3 win over the No. 3 Trojans.

in the rankings this weekend when the Sun Devils take on No. 1 Stanford
Friday at 1:30 p.m. and No. 10 Cal Saturday at noon at the Whiteman Tennis
Center.
The Sun Angel Classic, is, simply stated, an integral part of Sun Devil
track and field tradition.
