Effective immediately the use of large passenger vans defined as 12 and 15 passengers vans is prohibited at Arizona State University. Departments, (as well as Student Organizations, or Student Groups) are not permitted to purchase, lease, rent or transport passengers in 12 and 15 passenger vans.
Departments that currently own a 12 or 15 passenger van must take the vans out of service, send the vans to ASU Surplus Property and arrange for alternative transportation. The use of mini vans, buses and SUVs are acceptable options for university road travel.
