Study Abroad 101: The first step toward making your international experience a reality. Learn how to choose a program, earn credits toward your degree and identify potential financial aid and scholarship opportunities. 9/23/08 12 Noon
Succeed through Academic Advising, Balance and Variety:
Too many textbooks? Too many labs? Valuable tips on how to achieve balance to your student life, presented by a fellow Sun Devil. Learn how to get the most from academic advisement and proper class scheduling, add variety to your assignments and study habits and jump on the fast track to graduation.

Stress Management:  Last year, 80% of ASU students reported experiencing stressors such as school, time management, money, relationships, and balancing changing roles.  Learn to develop healthy coping skills and to successfully manage and reduce stress and its symptoms. 10/21/08 12 Noon
Resumes and Cover Letters:  Does your resume measure up to the competition? Do you know how to best showcase your degree, past jobs and extra-curricular activities? Find out what employers are looking for and learn how you can make your resume and cover letter stand out in the crowd! 11/12/08 12 Noon
Study Skills and Test Preparation:  Identify the signs of test stress and non-productive anxiety and learn how to deal with it. Review effective test taking strategies and tips. Be prepared for all types of exams including multiple choice, true/false, and essays. 12/2/08 12 Noon

ASU’s Annual Fall Housing Fair

Join us November 4 & 5, 2008 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The annual ASU Fall Housing Fair, sponsored by Off-Campus & Commuter Student Services in partnership with the Undergraduate Student Government is a one-stop shop for students, faculty, and staff to research the various off-campus living options. The ASU Housing Fair is a unique on-campus opportunity for ASU students to speak personally with representatives from local housing and apartment properties and related vendors.

If you are searching for off-campus housing this is the event to attend! Here’s a preview of what you will find at the fair:

  • Helpful information for first-time renters from Student Legal Assistance, USG, SDIC and much more!
  • Property Managers* on site from the Tempe community and surrounding area
  • Get the inside scoop on all that Tempe offers through the Tempe Convention & Visitors Bureau
  • Access to vendors* and public service representatives to answer your questions about off-campus amenities and services such as recycling, utilities, personal safety, transportation
