CCAMPIS Emergency Child Care Fund Information and Application

Who should apply for this Fund?
Only Pell grant eligible student parents whose child(ren) are enrolled in one of the partner programs listed below, are eligible to apply for the CCAMPIS Emergency Child Care Fund.  A student parent must be at risk of not completing their coursework and/or dropping out of ASU due to a financial crisis resulting in overdue child care expenses.

How is this program financed?
The US Department of Education funds this program, as part of a 4 year grant. New funding begins on October 1, 2009.

Who may apply?
  • All applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Arizona State University.
  • All applicants must be the parent(s)/legal guardian of a child(ren) enrolled at, and incur child care expenses from, one of the following on and off-campus centers:
    • Campus Children's Center
    • Mary Lou Fulton College of Education Preschool
    • Child Development Lab
    • Next Horizons Child Development Center
  • Student parent must be able to demonstrate a need for the funds to pay for past due child care expenses.
  • U.S. citizens and permanent residents. If you are neither a citizen, nor eligible non-citizen, you are not eligible for this federally funded subsidy program.
  • Utilize child care services because you are unmarried or have a spouse/domestic partner who is either a student, employed/looking for employment outside the home (for a minimum of 30 hours per week) or disabled. You may be asked to document this information
  • Must have submitted a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • Your application must include the invoice, from one of the child care centers listed above, that shows the overdue amount.
  • Application must include a 100 word, typed statement explaining how receipt of the CCAMPIS Emergency Child Care Fund will assist you in completing your coursework and/or continuing your enrollment at ASU.
