Our Vision:
ASU Family Resources is the voice for children and families at Arizona State University. We provide leadership, through a system of services, partnerships and collaborations, to serve all stakeholders: students, faculty, staff, and the community, who see themselves as families. We envision family support embedded in all levels of university planning and all family resources, services and programming, are of the highest quality and meet the current and future needs of the campus and community.
Our vision for ASU is as a nationally recognized family responsive university, committed to freeing every member of the university community to work and study to the fullest range of his or her potential, regardless of family commitments. To be a scholarly community and workplace in which human values and relationships are respected, diversity and inclusiveness is encouraged, and each person’s worth and dignity is valued and nurtured.
Our Mission:
ASU Family Resources is committed to supporting families in effectively managing their family, work and educational responsibilities. Our mission is to anticipate, recognize, and respond to the needs, opportunities, and concerns of ASU and the community. We take a broad and diverse view on what we mean by “family.” Besides spouse/partner and children we believe “family” stands for all aspects of an individual’s life, at home, at ASU and in the community.
