The South Neighborhood is home to approximately 2600 students spread across four halls (Hassayampa Phase I – (A) Mohave, (B) Arroyo, (C) Jojoba, (D) Chuparosa, and (E) Acacia; Hassayampa Phase II – (F) Mesquite, (G) Verbana, and (H) Acourtia; Sonora and Ocotillo). South Neighborhood residents participate in one of six Residential Communities – Freshman Year Residential Experience, WP Carey school of Business, CLAS (College of Liberal Arts and Sciences), Mary Lou Fulton College of Education, University College Explorers, Live Well @ ASU Residential Community.

There are many services located within the South Neighborhood including a UPS store, Hassayampa dining facility and convenience store, Learning Support Services and academic classrooms. Also, in close proximity are the Student Recreation Complex, intramural fields and the Memorial Union.
