The Center Neighborhood, practically across the street from the Memorial Union and the Student Services building, offers four living facilities (Best, Hayden, Irish, and McClintock), four Residential Colleges (College of Design’s Athena Residential College, Herberger Residential College of the Arts, Barrett Honors Residential College, and Cronkite Village Residential College) and a FYRE community (Freshman Year Residential Experience).

Dining options are only across the street including Pitchfork’s, Maricopa Café, and plenty of other MU eateries.

McClintock Hall hosts the neighborhood office for the four halls. Within this office are staff members from Student Engagement, Wellness and Health Promotion, Learning Support Services, ASU Police, Student Judicial Affairs, Facilities Management, and Residential Life.

Students living in the Center Neighborhood enjoy close proximity to many offices and academic buildings as well as a short walk to the Mill Avenue District in Tempe, one of the hottest spots in the Valley for shopping, dining, the arts and special events.
