PROCEDURE FOR RESERVATIONS

  • Reservation forms are available at the following locations: the front desk of each residence hall; the Office of Residential Life (SSV 170); and the 3rd Floor of the Memorial Union.
  • Complete the checklist below and the reservation form and return the forms to the Office of Residential Life (SSV 170) or the front desk of the residence hall where the event will be located.
  • The Community Coordinator of that specific residence hall will contact the sponsoring organization via the contact information provided (phone and/or email).
    • If APPROVED, the student organization will need to ensure that tables, chairs, and other necessary equipment is arranged through Moving and Event Services.
    • If DENIED, the student organization representative may opt to meet with the Community Coordinator to discuss the reservation application.
  • The student organization will ensure that clean up after the event is completed.

Food/Beverage:
Any food being sold or given away at your event must have prior approval. A Food Waiver Request must be submitted to the MU EMS office or faxed to 480-965-5834 a minimum of 14 days prior to event date. If approved, the form must be displayed during your event. Applications are available at the Memorial Union EMS office and on the Memorail Union web site at www.asu.edu/mu
