Information Desk

The Information Desk acts as the central information center and manages the campus-wide lost & found program for Arizona State University.By phone or in person, the Information Desk staff answer a wide range of questions about ASU and the surrounding community. And if they cannot answer your question, they'll assist in finding the answer for you. The area is also equipped with information about campus events, facilities, services, as well as directories and campus maps.

Where do I go to get my student ID?

The Sun Devil Card Services Office is located on the south end of the lower level of the Memorial Union. There is a $25 charge for a Sun Card and you will need to have your ASU or affiliate ID number on hand. For more information, please visit http://cfo.asu.edu/suncard.

Where I can make copies or fax a document?

Print U provides printing, faxing, binding, and laminating services. Print U is located in the lower level of the Memorial Union next to the Sun Devil Card Services Office and is open weekdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm. For more information, please visit http://printcpc.com/digitalu/

Where can I drop/add courses?

Courses can be added or dropped online at http://my.asu.edu by clicking on the “Registration” link under the “My Classes” heading or in person at the University Registrar’s Office located on the first floor of the Student Services Building.

Where do I go to get a parking decal?

The preferred method to purchase a parking decal is online at http://cfo.asu.edu/pts-permits by clicking on the “MyParking Online Services” link. Parking decals can also be purchased at Parking and Transit Services, Decal Sales Office, Room 105, in the University Towers Building, weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Where do I go to get a U-Pass (bus card)?

A U-Pass can be purchased in person from the Parking and Transit Computer Options Program satellite station in the lower level of the Memorial Union next to the Sun Devil Card Services Office. A U-Pass can also be purchased online at http://uabf.asu.edu/parking_commuter_upass. Please note that a U-Pass purchased online will need to be picked up at Parking and Transit Services, Decal Sales Office, Room 105, in the University Towers Building, weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Where is the Student Financial Assistance Office located?

The Student Financial Assistance Office is located on the second floor of the Student Services Building Room 216. For more information, please visit http://students.asu.edu/financial-aid.

Where can I get information about on campus jobs?

You can access information about on campus jobs online at http://students.asu.edu/student-employment or in person at the On Campus Student Employment Office located on the second floor of the Student Services Building Room 216.

Where is the University Housing Office located?

The University Housing Office is located on the first floor of the Student Services Building Room 170. For more information, please visit http://www.asu.edu/housing.

Where is the closest mail drop box?

There is a United States Postal Service blue drop box located in front of the ASU Bookstore.

Where can I get information about meal plans?

The ASU Sun Devil Dining Office is located in Room 138 on the main level of the Memorial Union. A representative can answer any questions you have about meal plans. For more information, please visit http://www.sundevildining.com.

What do I do if I want to schedule a meeting in the MU?

Event and Meeting Services is located on the main level of the Memorial Union, Room 182, behind the information desk. An EMS staff member can assist you in making a room reservation in person, by phone at 480-965-3406, or by email at mureservations@asu.edu

Where do I go for information about involvement opportunities?

The Sun Devil Involvement Center is located on the third floor of the Memorial Union, which houses many of the programs under Student Engagement. These programs include Campus Activities, Community Service Program, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Programming & Activities Board, the Student Organization Resource Center, and Undergraduate Student Government. Staff members from these programs are ready to answer questions about their programs. Where can I get information about off-campus housing?

Information about off-campus housing can be found online at http://www.asu.edu/studentaffairs/reslife/occss.html or in person at the new Center for Off-Campus and Commuter Student Services located on the northeast corner of Rural and Terrace roads.

Where can I post advertisements for rent?

Flyers may also be posted on the various kiosks located outside on campus. One flyer per kiosk is allowed, however kiosks are cleaned up on a weekly basis, so try to post flyers up in the beginning of the week. Advertisements for rent may also be placed in The State Press classifieds print edition or online edition at http://www.statepress.com/asumarket/.

Where can I purchase ASU sports tickets?

ASU sports tickets can be purchased online at http://thesundevils.cstv.com/tickets/asu-tickets.html anytime, by phone at 480-727-0000 or in person at the Sun Devil Ticket Office, on the south side of Sun Devil Stadium, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where do I go to if a vending machine took my money without giving me a product?

The Memorial Union information desk provides refunds for vending machines but is not responsible for the functionality of vending machines. A valid ID is required for refunds and there is a three dollar maximum per person per month to prevent abuses.    

Where do I go to see an advisor if the status of my major is undecided?

University College provides advising services for undeclared/exploratory majors. The University College advising office is located in the Undergraduate Academic Services Building (UASB), just northeast of the Memorial Union on Orange Street.
