Interfraternity Council

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the governing body of all member, traditional fraternities at ASU and is an award-winning member of the North-American Interfraternity Conference. Founded in 1932, IFC provides for the general welfare, social, scholastic, and recreational activities of members of the fraternities and instills a high regard for the traditions and institutions of ASU. IFC promotes and facilitates the fraternity system and all powers granted by the fraternity chapters shall be vested in the council.

IFC recognizes that the fraternity chapters at ASU exist through the consent and encouragement of the University. It also recognizes that sound Interfraternity, university-fraternity, and community-fraternity relationships are needed to promote and perpetuate the best interests of ASU, the community, and the fraternity system.
