Rates & Fees
Registered Student Organizations and Arizona State University
All registered student organizations and Arizona State University departments are exempt from meeting room charges in the Memorial Union. The exception to this guideline is when there is a registration fee, conference fee, admission charge, or donation requested at the door.
A room rental fee will be waived when a complete meal has been purchased through Distinctive Catering for a specific event. This waiver only applies to groups utilizing a series of conference rooms in the Memorial Union or has requested a separate room for their meals to be served (if available). This waiver does not apply for one-time events (weddings, dances, etc.) or monthly meetings. Refreshment breaks are not considered a complete meal and do not therefore qualify for a room fee waiver. Entire conference rates are not waived for all rooms because there is a meal served. The waiver applies to only that room and that event during the conference when a meal is purchased.
Fees That Apply to all Categories

The following categories indicate the fee structure when applicable:
- Category I
- Registered student organization event when a fee, admission charge or donation is part of the event.
- Category II
- University related event with University participation when a fee, admission charge or donation is part of the event.
