Fall Welcome Community Service Project!!

What: Fall Welcome Community Service Project
When: August 24th - 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Where: Memorial Union, Mohave (236)
Why: Help assist the following community service agencies!

• Homebase Youth Services - addresses the growing needs of at-risk and homeless youth age 21 and younger.
• Prevent Blindness America/Arizona Division - dedicated to preventing vision loss by providing volunteer driven programs of vision screenings and referrals
• Foundation for Burns and Trauma - assists burn victims and their families and strives to reduce death and injury from burns and fire through prevention education
• Interfaith Community Care - an intergenerational center where seniors with dementia and young children will come together to play!

The Community Service Program at ASU is excited to kickoff the school year with a fun service activity! Volunteers will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of projects. Just show up or register by visiting: http://students.asu.edu/node/1516 

 

Fall Service Plunge

1. UMOM New Day Center - maintenance, clean-up of the grounds and painting
2. HomeBase Youth Services - painting and deep cleaning

To: The Fall Service Plunge is a great way to kick-off the semester. You will have an opportunity to meet other service-minded Sun Devils during this day of service. Get your community service requirement completed, connect with friends and have fun! Lunch and transportation will be provided! Choose your own “adventure”!
