CABBS presents Sankofa Summer Leadership Institute @ ASU: The African-American Pre-College Experience

NOTE:  All applications received after June 6, 2008 are placed on a waiting list.  We will accept applicants from the waiting list based on the order in which the application was received.  
 

You are invited to a Sankofa Summer Leadership Institute @ ASU designed especially for YOU, the African-American student!!

Purpose

The Sankofa Summer Leadership Institute @ ASU is a 4-day residential program designed to help orient new African American students, both incoming freshmen and transfer students, to ASU while helping them explore what it means to be a focused and dedicated student on a university campus, to strive for academic excellence and to develop a sense of cultural embeddedness within the college experience.

Eligibility

Receive an acceptance letter to attend ASU
Personal Statement - "How will a college degree help you to become successful in life?”

Program Costs

Non-refundable $50.00 Participation Fee upon acceptance into the Sankofa Summer Leadership Program and due with final paperwork by July 7, 2008.
