Academic Support ServicesOne-on-One Consultation One-on-One ConsultationStaff from the Multicultural Student Center offer one-on-one guidance, consultation, and referral to address the academic, personal, and cultural needs of multicultural students. Appointments are encouraged but walk-ins are welcome. Academic and Resource RoomDeveloping new learning and study strategies is the hallmark of academic success in college. The MSC partnership with the Learning Resource Center provides students with referrals for subject and writing tutorials and free academic coaching. Free drop-in tutoring in math, chemistry, physics, and engineering is available Monday through Friday from 11:00-4:00PM. Academic coaching provides students with strategies for academic success through personalized weekly meetings with a trained peer coach. Interested students can speak with MSS staff for information to sign up for individual sessions on Tuesday through Thursday. Software Computer WorkshopsAttend software computer workshops covering PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Dreamweaver in the Computer Lab across from the Academic & Resource Room.
