Our mission...


LINK@ASU is a one-week summer residential program geared towards students who would like to fully understand the first-year Latino student experience by incorporating campus resources, to ensure a successful academic year.

LINK participants will…
  • Meet with upperclassmen and become familiar with member organizations of El Concilio, the Chicano/Latino Student Coalition.
  • Meet members of the Chicano Faculty & Staff Association and ASU Los Diablos Alumni Association.
  • Attend workshops on Financial Aid, Budgeting Finances, Time Management, Healthy Living and much more…
  • Participate in inter-active and enrichment sessions to enhance academic success.
  • Reside in a residential hall, tour the ASU Tempe campus and get a jump start on the school year.
  • Transition into ADELANTE, the first-year academic organization.

LINK@ASU equips students with the tools necessary to build a strong foundation to ensure academic success, retention and graduation.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicant must be an admitted first year ASU student.
  • Participant must participate in all aspects of the program, including the week-long residential stay on campus.
  • Must have registered to attend Freshman Orientation prior to June 15th.
  • Complete LINK application and submit prior to the deadline, along with application fee.
  • Upon selection into program, participant must complete Acceptance Packet by April 30th, or alternate participant will be chosen.
