Summer tutoring is located in MU 178 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Please check the website regularly for updates. Coaching also is available both summer sessions.  Please call the coaching office at (480) 727-6613 for information and appointments.

 

Learning Support Services (LSS) uses a peer-assisted model to provide academic support and learning opportunities that foster students’ academic, personal, and professional success. LSS staff members are professionally trained to assist peers in achieving academic success.  Services are provided through our many Learning Resource Centers located across campus.

Residential Programs

Tutoring - Free day and evening tutoring in over 100 subjects in many convenient locations throughout campus

Writing Support - Provides individual assistance and workshops aimed at strengthening writing skills.

On-Line Tutoring - Real-time online tutoring in Math, Chemistry, and Biology. Staffed by highly skilled tutors from ASU, NAU, and UA. Free to all registered students.

Academic Coaching - Provides students with proven strategies and a supportive environment that can help them perform better on exams, improve their study habits, and manage the demands of university life.

Software Training - LSS offers software workshops and individual sessions designed to support students’ academic work.

Adult Re-entry
The ASU Adult Re-Entry (ARE) Program seeks to assist and support students age 25 and older who have been out of the educational system for a significant period of time. We know that Adult Re-Entry students have similar needs and share many of the same concerns when returning to education. The ARE program is located in the Center for Off Campus & Commuter services.

Residential Colleges - At ASU, you can live in a community with other students who share your academic interests. In a Residential College you can live together study together, and interact with faculty members and academic advisors.

First Year Residential Experience (FYRE) - FYRE is a residential community designed to support students in their first year of university life. FYRE staff work with university partners to create a comprehensive experience combining community activities with enhanced academic support. Participation in this experience will promote a foundation for academic success and a strong connection to community.
