Campus Health Service

Attention ASU Freshman

Required Vaccine: The Measles vaccine (MMR) is the only required vaccination at ASU. Students are required to document that they've had two measles vaccinations (one of which must be dated after 1979), or a lab test showing proof of immunity to the measles (rubeola). The MMR vaccine is available for a fee at the Campus Health Service.

The ASU Campus Health Service also strongly recommends immunization against meningococcal meningitis. This is a potentially fatal or devastating illness and the risk is higher for college students living in residence halls than for 18-23 year old persons not in college. Many campuses in the U.S. require this vaccine. This is also available at the Campus Health Service.

The Campus Health Service is open to all students regardless of insurance status. We encourage students to carry health insurance and offer both a discount plan (Bridge Plan) and a major medical plan (Aetna/The Chickering Group).

Are you under the age of 18?

Arizona law requires parental consent to provide medical treatment for individuals under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, a Parental Consent form must be filled out by your parent or guardian.
