Campus Health Service

Medical Care

The following is a brief description of areas of medical care within ASU's Campus Health Service at the Tempe campus:

  • Same Day Clinics
These clinics are for patients with mild illnesses or injuries such as upper respiratory infections. These are appointment-only clinics - appointments may be given by telephone or walk in. There is a morning clinic from 10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m. and an afternoon clinic from 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

  • Future Appointment Clinic
When you need a follow-up appointment for a condition already present, medication refills or general physical examinations.

Our clinicians do not prescribe ADD meds unless you have documentation from a certified professional (psychiatrist or psychologist) that you have been tested and diagnosed with ADD. Our clinicians will be happy to talk to you and refer you to the appropriate professional, so that you can get the proper diagnosis and treatment, but they will not prescribe ADD medication for you at that time.

  • Women's Health Care
Our physicians and nurse practitioners provide physical exams, pap smears, STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) checks and contraceptive counseling.
