Dear ASU Community,
Thank you for coming to our website. It has been a year since I arrived at Campus Health Service and what a wonderful year it has been. Our core mission remains the same: to keep all members of our community healthy so they can achieve success here at ASU. Students at our University deserve, and we believe receive, the finest combination of healthcare and education from the partnership of staff and clinicians at all of our campuses. ASU Campus Health Service has received full accreditation from the AAAHC, the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. We employ a confidential electronic medical records system that allows our health system to more easily track the quality of care we provide our students and other patients. We are proud of our over 96.7% patient satisfaction rating. Our Sports Medicine Fellowship Program is one of only two in the state and provides high quality care for both our Intercollegiate Athletes and general student population. Our recent expansion to the Student Recreation Center, "Weekend Warriors" like myself can also get access to the same high quality Sports Medicine physicians. Our Travel Medicine Clinic provides pre-travel information for students and other members of the ASU community. Our meningitis vaccination programs have received national attention from the American College Health Association. Our article on ASU’s influenza vaccination program has been accepted by the Medscape from WebMD. The combination of physicians, nurse practitioners, specialist physicians, laboratory and radiological staff, and pharmacy really makes ASU’s Campus Health Service a comprehensive full service health center. Most importantly, Campus Health Service works collaboratively in the Living Well Network working with Health & Wellness Promotion, Counseling and Consultation, and Campus Recreation to help those who desire it to learn how to live healthier and hopefully happier lives. Students have a voice in everything we do at the Campus Health Service through connections with our Health and Counseling Student Action Committee. I encourage you to get involved so we can be more responsive to your needs. As we move forward in the coming semesters we look to expand hours, expand locations to serve you better, become even more involved in student education around the campus including teaching students how to be good consumers of healthcare. If you or someone you know may benefit from our services, please feel free to drop by or call to make an appointment. We look forward to serving you.
