Training & Workshops
The TRiO Program offers workshops throughout the year that enhance
academic skills, career development and personal growth. These events
are free for TRiO Program participants and are held in Matthews Center unless otherwise noted. Most workshops are one hour. |
Our Presenters
Workshop presenters come from varied backgrounds as the TRiO program
offers perspectives from academia, business and the community. Counseling
and Consultation and Career Services are two campus resources that prepare
specialized workshops for program participants.
Specialized Trainings
During the year the TRiO Program offers trainings that focus on career
development or personal growth. These events, which are conducted by
professional trainers, may run a half-day or several days. Enrollment is limited.
Accommodations
With all TRiO events, a student must request an accommodation three days
in advance. Requests can be made to the TRiO Administrative Assistant. Below is a listing of TRiO workshops. Program participants are encouraged to
discuss topics for new workshops with the TRiO staff.
