To get help in the event a student reports an incident involving weapons, explosives and fireworks:
1 Public Safety

911 (life-threatening or urgent)

24 HoursSecures emergency mental health/medical treatment for affected party, as needed.
Interviews the affected party.
Initiates criminal investigation, if appropriate.
Refers alleged student violations to Student Rights and Responsibilities.
Refers alleged employee violations to employee’s supervisor.

M-F 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.Coordinates with ASU Police to initiate threat assessment and interim action, if appropriate.
Adjudicates student conduct complaints if the alleged perpetrator is an ASU student.
Reporting violations and suspected violations of DPA Policy 201-05, Weapons, Explosives, and Fireworks, to ASU Police is MANDATORY.
2 Psychological Support

After hours and weekends: C&C may be contacted via ASU Police. Call 911 or (480) 965-3456Provides individual or group support to the affected student(s), including roommates, friends, significant others.
Provides evaluation and/or appropriate follow-up/referrals to other campus and community resources.
Provides support to affected student groups to help them discuss their reactions (critical incident debriefing).
