Checklist for success
- In as much detail as possible, know what skills you have, where and how you would most like to use them.
- Look at written resources and talk to people to pinpoint a person/people to interview.
- Make arrangements for the interview.
- Know what questions you want to ask.
- Conduct the interview.
- Send a thank-you letter.
- Evaluate the information gathered.
- Make a record of the contact (name/address/phone/information discussed/etc.)
- Pinpoint other people to interview based on what you yet need to know.
