From the Home page of your Sun Devil CareerLink account, click the quick link Create Non-OCR Job Posting. Complete the job form, then use the Submit tab at the bottom of the page; this will send the job posting to ASU Career Services for review. It generally takes one business day for your posting to go "live" once it's been submitted by you, and you'll receive an auto-generated email once it's been "approved." From the Home page, click the quick link, View Non-OCR Job Postings. Locate the correct job, then either select that job title to make changes to the job description page, or select Deactivate under the Options tab to the right.

3.  Searching ASU Resumes

How do I search resumes of ASU candidates

From the Home page, click the Search ASU Resumes tab at the top. Select the name of the appropriate Resume Book on left side of page and use the Advanced Search to find resumes of candidates who meet your qualifications.

Resume Search Tip: if your search results in too many candidates, add additional criteria to the Advanced Search to narrow the search. From the Search Results page, click the Resume icon to the right to view each resume in PDF format.

How do I download resumes

From the Search Results page, click the box next to each candidate's name whose resume you want to print/save. Then select the Save as Excel or Generate Book tab to save or print the resume(s). On the next page, right-click and choose "Save Target as" to download resumes to your computer. Resumes are provided in PDF format.

I searched but didn’t find any resumes.  What am I doing wrong?

It's not necessary to set criteria in each of the search fields. Try a broader search only using one or two fields and then narrow the search by adding additional criteria. The Resume Text Search can be useful in locating candidates with special skills or experience.

How can I email candidates directly?

From the Search Results page, once you have found the resumes of qualified candidates, click the box to the left of each name.

Search tip: if your search results in too many candidates, click the back button to add additional criteria to narrow the search. Then you can use the Batch Options: Mail to Checked to email more than one person, or click on the student's last name to email one individual at a time.

4.  On Campus Recruiting (OCR)

How do I schedule on-campus interviews and/or information sessions?

Request on-campus interview schedules and information sessions through your Sun Devil CareerLink account. From your Home page, select the On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) tab or the "quick link" [Create New Schedule Request] or [Request New Information Session].

What's the difference between Pre-Select and Open Schedules?

For the Pre-Selection process, while Career Services will encourage that resumes be submitted according to the employer’s qualifications, no screening is performed prior to these resumes being made available to the employer.  This allows all interested registered candidates to submit their resumes for consideration.  Candidates are allowed to submit resumes until approximately three weeks prior to the interview date.

Open Schedules enable candidates to schedule interview times immediately, providing they are registered with Career Services and also meet or exceed the employer's requirements for major, degree level, graduation date and work authorization type.
