Elaine Stover
Associate Director of Career Services
Elaine Stover holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from the State University of New York at Oneonta and a Master of Arts in Spanish from ASU. She is a member of the Arizona School Personnel Administrators Association (ASPAA), the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and the Mountain Pacific Association of Colleges and Employers (MPACE). Elaine enjoys the breadth of the community she encounters through the Office of Career Services, from students and faculty to local and national employers. She has seen many physical and philosophical changes in the department over the last 30 years. The one constant she has most valued? The relationships she’s developed through her professional and personal engagement in the department.
Christine Helms
Assistant Director of Outreach and Orientations
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Master of Counseling with an emphasis on Student Personnel Administration from Northern Arizona University. She continues her education through her memberships in the National Association of Career Development (NCDA) and the Arizona Career Development Association (ACDA). Chris’ active interest in building strong relationships between Career Services and various colleges on campus makes her an excellent resource for students seeking connections across the university. Her decision making approach is most influenced by her consideration of the impact of those decisions on others. Chris’ highest priority is the student’s greatest benefit and successful experience through Career Services.
Karen Lamb
Assistant Director of Advising and Curriculum Development
Kaye holds a BA in Speech Communication from Valparaiso University (IN), a MA in Communication Education and Training from the University of Maryland, and a MS in Industrial Relations from Loyola University of Chicago. She is certified as a Global Career Development Facilitator and is an active member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and the National Career Development Association (NCDA). Before coming to Arizona State University, Kaye was the Director of Career Services at Elgin Community College (ECC) where she served as the two time President of the ECC Chapter, American Association for Women in Community College (AAWCC). She enjoys working with young students to help them discover and build connections between their academic work and their career path.
