Cathedral of Hope
A philosophical or value statement that seeks to respond to the why of the organization’s existence. A mission statement should be outcome-oriented, describing what will be accomplished. It should be succinct and easily memorable. It must have an active verb, not a form of "be." For a church, it must lead the congregation beyond itself and arise from a passion to follow God. The Mission of the Cathedral of Hope is to reclaim Christianity as a faith of extravagant grace, radical inclusion and relentless compassion.
