Welcome to the Academic Transfer Articulation Office
The Academic Transfer Articulation Office (ATAO) at Arizona State University brings together the efforts of faculty, administrators and statewide transfer partners to provide effective transfer to the university from other institutions. Our efforts benefit every school, college and campus at ASU by bringing us more and better-qualified transfer students. We are committed to working with the faculty and administration, both at ASU as well as our transfer partner institutions, to assure academic standards are met, and that the students have greater opportunities and access to the university.
Our office provides information regarding course equivalency agreements, Transfer Partnership Degrees, and the Arizona statewide Transfer Pathways - information that will help advisors to guide students through an effective transfer experience. ATAO facilitates faculty involvement in statewide discipline specific articulation task forces; assists and guides our colleges, schools, and departments in the development of articulation agreements with our community college partners; and facilitates the course evaluations. We are active participants in the Arizona Transfer Model.
