Welcome to the Intergroup Relations Center at Arizona State University. The IRC is an education, research and advocacy unit that advances the understanding and practice of effective relations among members of different groups.

Situated in the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, our charge is to build awareness of and appreciation for diversity, and to foster a climate of inclusion both on campus and off. IRC constituents include students, faculty, staff, administrators, and members of the greater Phoenix community.

Our core functions are training and education, conducting research on intergroup processes, and serving as a clearinghouse for resources related to diversity, intergroup relations, and social justice.

We invite you to connect with the IRC by perusing this website, reading our newsletter, and participating in our programs. We also welcome your questions, ideas, and recommendations.
