New Facilities Opening in 2012

Casa de Oro, a new 93,000 square-foot residential facility will be home to freshman and sophomore classes this fall 2012.
This new residential college community will double the number of students living on campus, creating an environment where students will live with other students who share the same major, interact with faculty members and have access to academic resources and student services outside of the classroom. Our residential colleges foster a comprehensive experience that combines community activities with enhanced academic support.
Designed to be a hub for student residential life, Casa de Oro provides double occupancy suite-style units, including a social lounge, gaming lounge, study rooms, a community kitchen for programming use, laundry facilities, a business center and an interior landscaped courtyard. The Freshman Class of 2012 will be among the first to enjoy these state-of-the-art amenities.
The hall is designed to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver specifications.
The dining facility, just steps away from Casa de Oro, offers a great environment for students to gather for meals, team projects and events. The dining facility features late night dining options, open and private dining areas, retail space, a student lounge, market style serviing areas and a Jamba Juice.
